Looking for a Mobile Action alternative

Mobile Action is a serious platform with a genuinely free Apple Ads manager attached. It is also five separate product lines — ASO, Ad Intelligence, Search Ads, CPP Intelligence and Market Intelligence — and three of them are priced on request. If you are one person with a couple of apps, most of that surface is not for you.

Read from Mobile Action's own pricing page in August 2026. Ad Intelligence, Search Ads Intelligence and CPP Intelligence are quoted on request rather than listed.

The $15 tier is the shop window: three months of history and three competitors per app is not enough to argue about a trend. The tier people actually work on is $69.

Where Mobile Action is genuinely hard to beat

Their Apple Ads campaign manager is free up to $10,000 of monthly ad spend, with twenty-odd automation templates for bidding rules. If you run Apple Search Ads, that is a real offer and Storelift does not compete with it — Storelift reads your Apple Ads results and lines them up against your organic rank, but it does not create or bid on campaigns.

They also carry two datasets we have no route to: a library of ad creatives across dozens of networks, and which custom product page a competitor is running on a given keyword. Both are built by monitoring ad placements at a scale we cannot reach, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

What one screen buys you

On G2 the three phrases that recur about Mobile Action are expensive, difficult learning and data inaccuracy; on Capterra, that the interface needs simplifying. The first two are the cost of five product lines sharing a login.

The third is the one Storelift is built around. Every rank on screen carries its measurement depth, a failed measurement shows as a gap rather than a zero, and the keyword difficulty formula is printed in the interface rather than described as proprietary. None of that makes our data richer than theirs — it makes it checkable.

When Mobile Action is the right choice

Pick Storelift when the question is narrower and you want to answer it without a sales call: where you rank, who is above you, whether the term is searched, and whether an assistant recommends your app.

Frequently asked

Is Mobile Action's free plan really free?

The Apple Ads campaign manager is, up to $10,000 of monthly ad spend, and that is a genuine offer. The ASO product is separate and starts at $15/month, with the workable tier at $69.

Does Storelift track in-app events like Mobile Action?

Not yet. Apple publishes in-app events on the public product page, so it is on our roadmap without needing any credential — but shipping it is not the same as planning it, and today the honest answer is no.
