Looking for an AppTweak alternative
AppTweak is a capable ASO platform. It is also priced for teams with an ASO budget: €79/month for the entry tier, and its Campaign Manager, Reviews and Market Intelligence are separate products. If you're one person with two apps, that's the wrong shape — not the wrong tool.

The difference that isn't on the price sheet
Both tools show you a keyword rank. They don't agree on where demand comes from. AppTweak, like most of the category, derives it from Apple's ad-console popularity score. In a four-day window from 29 September 2025 the number of US keywords above that score's floor fell from 165,875 to 39,254 — a 77.4% drop — and the score only exists in the 91 countries where Apple Ads operates, against an App Store present in 175.
Storelift reads demand from App Store autocomplete instead: does the store suggest the term, and with how many variants. It gives no volume number, and says so. That's a smaller claim, but it survives changes to Apple's ad product and it works in every storefront.
Both tools measure AI visibility. Only one includes it.
AppTweak launched AI Visibility for Apps in April 2026 and it is the more developed product of the two: a taxonomy of 1,200+ user intents across 200+ subcategories, thousands of prompts run weekly, answers matched back to real app IDs, plus sentiment and source attribution. If you are benchmarking a category rather than an app, that depth is the reason to buy it.
Three things are worth knowing before you compare the two on a feature grid:
- It sits on the Enterprise tier. On Essential, Grow and Grow Plus, AI Visibility is listed as sold separately. Storelift includes it from $12/month.
- Coverage is two engines. AppTweak's own pages name ChatGPT and Claude. Storelift runs Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, and reports each separately rather than averaging them — the engines disagree, and which one names you is the actionable part.
- No country or language coverage is published. We looked across AppTweak's product page, its press release and the page it writes for AI crawlers; none states which markets are measured. Storelift measures per storefront and per language, and prints which one produced the answer.
The prompts also come from different places. AppTweak generates them from its own category taxonomy, which is what makes category benchmarking possible. Storelift generates them from your tracked keywords, which is narrower and more specific to the app in front of you. Neither is strictly better; they answer different questions.
When AppTweak is the right choice
This page exists because the price gap is real, not because the tool is bad. Pick AppTweak when:
- You run Apple Search Ads at scale and want keyword research and bidding in one workflow.
- You need market intelligence — category-level share, competitor download modelling, and the reports that come with it.
- Your team needs seats, roles and shared reporting, not one person's dashboard.
- You want 24 months of history to argue about seasonality.
- You need AI visibility benchmarked across a whole category, not just your own app — and the Enterprise price is within reach.
Pick Storelift when the question is narrower: where do I rank, who is ahead of me, is the term searched, and did today move — measured every night across up to 128 storefronts, with the source of every number on screen.
What switching actually costs
Rank history doesn't transfer between tools — nobody exports it in a shape another vendor imports. What that means in practice: the day you add an app to a new tracker, its history starts at zero and fills in nightly.
- Add the app with its store link; nothing else is required to start.
- Copy your keyword list per country. Terms tracked in the old tool are the right starting set.
- Run both for a few weeks if the old contract is still live — differing ranks are usually personalization or a different depth limit, and comparing the two teaches you which.
Frequently asked
Is there a free AppTweak alternative?
Storelift's free tier tracks one app, 15 keywords and one storefront, measured nightly, with no end date. It is smaller than AppTweak's entry tier by design; it is not a countdown trial.
Does Storelift do Apple Search Ads management?
No. It measures organic search: rank, the apps above you, demand and reviews. If ad bidding is the job, a platform with a campaign manager fits better.
Can I track competitors' keywords?
You can track any term, including rival app names, and see which apps rank above you on each one with their rating, review count and age. What isn't offered is a modelled estimate of a competitor's installs or revenue.

Paste your store link, add your keywords. Rank, the apps above you and demand are measured every night.
