Looking for an Appfigures alternative

Appfigures grew out of analytics, and it shows in the pricing. The tier people arrive on — $9.99/month — does not track keyword ranks at all. Daily ranks begin at $44.99, and competitor keywords with the rest of the ASO set at $149.99. That is a reasonable shape for an analytics company. It is an awkward one if rank tracking is why you came.

Read from Appfigures' own pricing page in August 2026. Every tier includes five apps; additional apps are +$1.99 each, which does not appear in most comparison tables.

The estimates question

Appfigures' best-known product is its download and revenue estimates, and its models are trained on real figures contributed by a large number of developers. That is a genuine asset and the reason people cite it.

The part worth checking before you rely on it: the current help documentation describes the methodology at length — billions of training data points, models trained on shared real data — and publishes no error rate. Not overall, and not by app size. Where a figure has circulated historically it is a median across the whole corpus, and that corpus is weighted toward apps large enough to be sharing their data.

So the estimate is least reliable exactly where a small developer needs it most, and nothing on screen says so. Storelift shows no estimates for that reason. Connect your App Store Connect account and you see your real numbers; for competitors you see what the store publishes — ratings, version history, reviews, rank — and nothing modelled on top.

When Appfigures is the right choice

Pick Storelift when what you need is the rank itself, measured every night, with the apps ahead of you named — and you would rather not pay $149.99 to get to it.

Frequently asked

Does Appfigures have a free tier?

Yes — five apps with download, revenue and review tracking. It does not include keyword tracking, which is the distinction worth checking on any free ASO tier.

Are download estimates accurate?

They are modelled from observable store signals and trained on real data from participating developers, which makes them plausible for large apps. No vendor in this category currently publishes an error rate by app size, so for a small app there is no way to know how far off a given number is.
